“Color Code is my interpretation of a code-breaking machine, each piece turning and clicking with motion to break the code…in this case it breaks the code and rules of color to me which is very satisfying.”

It’s a custom-made, permanent installation for a private residence in Dallas, Texas. The piece consists of 165 individual circles, each given generous layers of bright, glossy paint then lightly brushed with a pop of gold shimmer.

We traveled to Dallas December 2014 to install the sculpture in the living space…
